The Lighter Side of Real Estate: Can There be Too Much Disclosure?

Sellers often wonder how much to disclose about why they are selling their home. Elle Zober of Beaverton, Oregon is taking no chances when it comes to trying to unload the home she shared with her ex-husband.

Zober is holding nothing back as to why she is selling. The sign in her front yard says it all. “Husband left us for a 22 year old…House for sale by scorned, slightly bitter, newly single owner.”

According to Zober, she recently divorced her husband of 10 years after finding out that he was having an affair with a 22 year old college student. Her three-bedroom home is listed for $189,940.
