Choosing Southern Maryland as her forever home, Connie Gunn has always possessed an entrepreneurial spirit. While attending the University of Maryland for Business and Management, she found herself seeking a career opportunity that specifically spoke to her passion for helping others. Upon relocating to North Dakota, she decided to pursue her real estate license at 20 years old and found quick success in the industry. However, once Connie returned home to Maryland (2015), she would leverage her strong roots in the community to take her work to the next level and establish a network of satisfied clients that spans the region.
Today, Connie is a REALTOR® with CENTURY 21 New Millennium, where she assists clients throughout St. Mary’s County, Charles County, Calvert County, and the surrounding areas of Southern Maryland. Here, she has cultivated a boutique process to meet the needs of any buyer, seller, or investor.
When listing a property, Connie begins by helping her clients fully prepare for the market, equipping them with a suite of professional photography and videography services. From there, she broadcasts her listings through both the regional MLS and a highly targeted blend of digital and social media campaigns. While providing a global reach via her partnered websites and her own extensive sphere of influence, she also utilizes trusted resources like postcards and e-flyers and of course social media, to give each client an added advantage.
Elsewhere, Connie is just as attentive when assisting her buyers. In fact, she keeps in touch long after the deals are done, connecting them with her database of contractors, accountants, and specialists—all to ensure they are thriving in their new homes. “I love encouraging my clients to build wealth through real estate,” she says. “There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a first-time buyer go from living in a rental property to achieving the dream of homeownership and later expanding into investments.”
Over the years, Connie has earned a fantastic reputation throughout Maryland, with the majority of her volume coming from repeat clients and referrals. She is also Community Relations Chair and St. Mary’s County Director for the Southern Maryland Association of REALTORS®. When she’s not with clients or giving back, she can be found spending quality time with her husband and two children, attending monthly book club meetups, or visiting all the delightful coffee shops Southern Maryland has to offer.
As her volume maintains its steady growth, Connie intends on further scaling her standards of client service throughout the region. In the meantime, though, she looks forward to all the new connections that await. “It doesn’t make a difference to me if a client chooses to buy a house today, tomorrow, six months from now, or six years from now,” she says. “No matter what, my focus is on helping them achieve their goals and educating them throughout the process. At the end of the day, I’m always here for them.”
