REALTOR® and brokerage owner, Francois Vassiliades has been passionate about real estate since his days in high school. After graduation, he immediately continued his studies to attain his real estate license, which has led to a career of over 20 years in the industry. Currently the director of his own thriving office in Sydney, NSW, he oversees a team of twelve people, including sales agents and property managers. Undoubtedly, there’s a lot of growth potential on Francois’ horizon as he looks to branch out into new areas and expand his reach further afield.

With around 80% of Francois’ business coming from repeat and referral clients, it’s clear that the people he works with appreciate his honest, client-first approach to real estate. He’s known for being an overachiever and for creating a smooth transaction process that takes the stress away from his clients. “Buying or selling a home is the biggest deal in your life,” he says. “It’s the largest financial commitment, but it shouldn’t be scary provided you have all the facts straight and the right people working for you. Like many REALTORS® these days, most of Francois’ marketing is done online via websites and social media. He likes to reach out to clients personally every few months, though, to send little gifts and provide updates on the market and their home values. Throughout all the years that he has been in the business, Francois has built strong relationships so that clients know they can count on him no matter what. “There are a lot of agents who come into the business, do it for a few years and then leave. I’m here for the long journey,” he says.

When he’s not working, Francois and his team love helping out their community. “We’re a franchise so we’re always getting involved in charitable events in town,” he explains. In particular, he is a big supporter of an organization that aids people with Cystic Fibrosis. In his spare time, Francois enjoys relaxing with his family and working out to stay fit. “Exercise clears my mind and helps me stay focused on my goals,” he says.

On average, Francois does a whopping $100 million in sales volume annually. He’s been the number one agent in his area for the past 4-5 years and he’s not planning to slow down any time soon. “It’s all about client satisfaction,” he says. “I want to help people achieve their goals, buy their first home, and know that they are making a good investment. I love seeing that smile on their face when the deal closes.”
