Vinny Carlesi had an early interest in real estate, and he has sales in his blood. “I’ve always been a big sales person, and my dad has been in sales his whole life, so I have a background with that,” Vinny says. “I really liked the whole process of housing and house-hunting, so when I graduated college two years ago in the middle of the pandemic, I decided to get my license. I was very fortunate in that I get to work with the #1 RE/MAX in the world, and once I got started, I fell in love right away. I love everything about real estate!” Vinny’s business is growing rapidly as he helps more and more clients find the real estate solution that’s right for them.
With RE/MAX 1st Advantage, Vinny serves the entire state of New Jersey, with a primary focus on the area north of Atlantic City. From the Jersey Shore to the communities right across the Hudson River from New York City and everything in between, Vinny loves serving his home state and is full of praise for the excellent quality of life it has to offer. “I live in Hoboken, and we are seeing a lot of people from New York move here,” he explains. “The commute to the city is easy by train, bus, or car, and people are finding that with taxes and prices nowhere near what they are in New York, this is a great place to live.”
Vinny’s rate of repeat and referral business is the third-highest on his team, and it’s easy to see what keeps people coming back. He guides them through the entire process and stays in touch long after the closing. “I have everyone’s number in my phone and get in touch regularly just to see how everything’s going and how they like their new place,” Vinny says. His relationships with clients are the most important part of real estate for Vinny. “One of the things I love the most about being in real estate is when we get to the closing table and my clients are so happy. I like knowing I played a part in that.”
Vinny contributes to his community whenever possible, and takes part in Knights of Columbus events with his dad, who is a member. When he is not working or giving back, Vinny is an avid sports fan and loves going out to games, as well as working out at the gym or just relaxing. As for what the future holds, Vinny would like to eventually start his own team. He also flips houses on the side and would love to start his own house-flipping business, but he also loves where he is right now and wants to continue bringing his clients the same great service.
Keeping the process as easy and stress-free as possible for his clients is a high point for Vinny. “I always do my best to make sure my clients are very comfortable and have no second thoughts,” Vinny says. “Everybody gets nervous through the whole process, and I like being able to talk to my clients, put everything in perspective, and let them know everything is going to be fine. That contributes to the confidence they have in me. I also love the fact that I get to help people find their new home, and seeing their face light up when they walk in is the best feeling ever. It’s what I love about real estate.”
